The E65 generated much controversy, due to its radical styling and iDrive user difficulties. Nonetheless, the E65 broke records to become the best-selling 7-series iteration ever, especially after its facelift.

I cleared them all and waiting about 3 weeks to see which ones came back. Well, some came back. I was wondering if anyone could help me out if giguring out what I can do to fix these faults. The scan tool is seperated into three menus. Driver, Chassis, and Body. And each menu was seperated into multiple systems. There were no faults in chassis so all the faults below are driver and body.
Sorry, prematurely sent the thread through. I just wanted to add a thank you in advance for any help that is provided. Does anyone know if these codes are linked to a single thing?
Or are there multiple things that I'm going to have to fix? Looks like there are several issues - There are under voltage problems; hence, the first thing you should do is recharge or replace the battery. After the under voltage issue is addressed, erase all codes and see which ones come back. Fuel tank vent valve need to be replaced. I have a feeling most of those are simply symptoms of a weak or dying battery. The electronics systems in BMWs are very sensitive to improper voltage. Have your battery checked and if necessary, replaced by a reputable shop -- and don't go cheap.
Either get an OEM battery or one that's an exact match. I also erased all codes, so ill see which of them come back. Seems that a couple I know already came back as soon as I erased them, the 9C54 AUC sensor, which im pretty sure has some thing to do with the Mass air flow sensor inside the air box where the air filter is, and 9C77 refrigerant compressor, I'm guessing could be low freon. The auc is a little sensor right on the engine fan.
FrenchyriderPM Had the battery checked today and the battery checked out perfect. FrenchyriderPM I also erased all codes, so ill see which of them come back.Recently my airbag light randomly came on.
Ken at www. Here is how I fixed the common seat belt pretensioner issue. My searching turned up an interesting issue. I was hoping this was the case because the wiring is much cheaper than the pretensioner. I had a spare wiring harness handy.
This should be attached to the underside kick plastic….
You can see the lock is moved over a finger width in the first picture. In the second picture you can see the lock all the way out next to my thumb. Unbolt the rear two seat bolts. Lift the seat up and rotate it around and sneak it out the door.
If you have a sedan you can leave the seat belt attached to the seat. I set the seat just outside the door. You need to pull back the clips on both sides. The clip is just at the tip of my thumb. We want to test the new wiring harness before we bolt everything back together. I rigged it up so I could plug in the seat while it was sitting outside next to the door.
Bolt everything back together for now until you get the new parts. Writeup by: timi. Fixing the airbag light — seat belt pretensioner error code. Posted in ElectricalMisc. Search for:. Does anyone have any ideea about this, do I need to replace those capacitors or rewrite a good dump? Car have been reflashed so I don't think it's a firmware issue LE: Problem solved, changing the capacitors will cure fault 93F9. I attached a photo with them, good luck. Thank you. Going to give this a try Usually 83F9 will go with new capacitors but had one module which I've had to reball the CPU, strange. No errors so far. Hi dunkler What do u mean reball cpu? Is it the same as flashing it?
